The Authors’ Series, crafted by Hunter Laing, is a collection of single malts where each release pays homage to renowned authors.
Ludwig Ganghofer born in 1855. Known for his vivid Alpine novels which extolled the virtues of the humble Bavarain folks. During WW1 Ludwig worked as a war correspondent producing consisitent reports from the German front line. He was reconigsed for his bravely and journalism and was awarded the Iron Cross.
Matured in a refill butt after being distilled May 1988 at Tormore distillery, this limited single malt is only one of 496 bottles filled February 2020.
