The story of David C Stewart and the creation of the Balvenie Classic. Probably the finest highland malt whisky, those were the words on the first ever bottle of The Balvenie Classic. Stewart had an instinctive idea that something different would happen when whisky was transferred from an American oak cask to finish in a sweet Oloroso sherry cask. The nose is lively with aromas of vanilla, dried clove and chai layered on a base of earthly, malty undertones. This is the fourth release in Balvenie's Stories range. This whisky has been produced with 100% of the ingredients sourced from the Balvenie distillery estate.
