Description

Ledaig - 42 Years Old 1972 - Dùsgadh

A rare and special release from the Tobermory distillery, this Ledaig single malt was distilled in 1972 and was aged for 42 years - making it the oldest and rarest release to date from Ledaig. Fitting, as 'Dùsgadh' literally translates to 'awakening' in Scot's Gaelic and reflects the prolonged dormancy and maturation of this whisky. One of 500 individually numbered bottles.

Comes presented in a special box made from copper used in the now-retired stills that had first produced this whisky, alongside a handmade copper card which in 2024 will enable the buyer to assume ownership of a bottle of Ledaig 10 year old Deanta - the last whisky distilled from the retired stills - upon it's release.
