Description

Bowmore Bicentenary 1964

This limited edition, distilled in 1964 was specially produced for the bicentenary of Bowmore. This old and unique whisky was matured in sherry casks in the vaults of No.1 warehouse, the original warehouse in the distillery dating back to 1779.

The bottle bearing the Morrison clan coat of arms is a replica of a hand blown decanter and was filled in the distillery early 1979.

Please note - All Bowmore Bicentenary bottles have a design flaw of the cork. The cork is very thin and the wax holding it in place is soluble in whisky. This may cause issues while in transit. Speyside Whisky Auctions Ltd cannot be held liable for any leakage/damage caused whilst the bottle is in transit, even if insurance for loss/damage is selected. Collection is advised.
