Description

Glen Grant - 62 Years Old 1956 - 'Mr George Centenary Edition'

A highly sought after and collectible bottle of an exceptional 62 year old Glen Grant from independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail. The single malt has been named 'Mr George Centenary Edition' in honour of George Urquhart, creator of Gordon & MacPhail's excellent Connoisseurs Choice range. His favourite distillery was Glen Grant, and so Urquhart's grandson, Stuart Urquhart, picked out an absolutely astonishing whisky to honour him. It was filled into a first fill sherry butt, numbered 4455, on 13 December 1956. After more than six decades, the whisky was bottled in June 2019. Presented in a suave glass decanter inside a beautifully crafted wooden presentation case.
