Glenfiddich - Project XX Experimental Series #02 Brian Kinsman, Glenfiddich's Malt Master, conducted one of the most exciting malt experiments in Glenfiddich's 130-year history. Shrouded in secrecy, it's code name was XX, pronounced Twenty. He invited 20 whisky experts from 16 countries to the Glenfiddich distillery. He gave each of these experts complete freedom to explore the warehouse and choose any single cask of Glenfiddich whisky that intrigued them the most. The final 20 chosen casks represent some of the most astonishing whiskies under Glenfiddich's care. In Brian's word's, 'I wanted to create an unexpected whisky, traditionally every malt whisky is chosen and vatted by one malt master to their taste, but i wanted to experiment and marry 20 totally unusual Glenfiddich malts together'. This unique whisky is a recreation of that extraordinary initial small vatting. We recommend that you undertake close up viewing/inspection prior to placing any bid.
