The Balvenie “A Day of Dark Barley” Is the third in the series, and is bottled from single cask #6856. This 26 year old is a story of an experiment undertaken at The Balvenie in the long wet summer of 1992 told by Robbie Gormley, Maltman (42 years at The Balvenie and part-time watercolour painter), Brian Webster, Mashman (48years at The Balvenie and keen hill walker) and David Stewart, Malt Master (57 years at The Balvenie and caravan keeper) Cask no. - 6853 Bottle no.  - 105   We recommend that you undertake close up viewing/inspection prior to placing any bid.
